Remember the founder sound we learned in "new member ed", formerly "pledging"? Well, the Sister of the Month for March is one of our BEAUTIFUL founders! She is obviously a member of the Alpha pledge class, graduated in 1984. Her major during her undergraduate career was History. After undergrad she did take several graduate courses, here and there. She works in Employee Relations (HR) at St. Peter's Health Partners...a 12,000+ employee health system with over 175 sites across the Capital District of New York. She directs the Rewards & Recognition programs (that sounds fun!). Some of her current hobbies include: knitting, reading, Downton Abbey marathons with her daughter, Maeve, and watching her boys, Ned & Pat play hockey!!
When asked what her favorite DphiE moment

was she said, "Anything we did together!! Especially with my Alpha sisters, but also recruiting the awesome Beta class!! Our Gamma class was small, but we loved her!! Also, coming back for all the Anniversary events or the "pledge" class stuff...the night we were in someone's Terrace apartment doing quiz show stuff with the pledge class was AWESOME!! Family Feud with sisters in your line, answering questions about the other sisters....OMG, that was hilarious!!"
She has three children Ned (almost 18), Patrick (almost 16), & Maeve (almost 14)!! She also has a husband named Ed, who she lovingly refers to as her 4 child.... I said lovingly!
When asked if she had anything awesome to share with us she said, "The only awesome thing about me is that my older sister, Joanne, and a bunch of us created this extraordinary group that grows each year, and continues to make me proud!! I don't think as an undergrad or even as a young alumna, I would have believed it if you told me that our chapter would be as strong and vibrant as it is now...33 years later!!"
