With Valentine's Day in full swing we can hopefully expect to get some lovin' from those who care about us! Maybe it's a box of chocolates, a bouquet of flowers? But if you are single on Valentine's Day don't forget about Gal-entine's Day, which is obviously MORE meaningful (teehee).
It is important to remember the bond we have to our sisterhood. Even if we are separated by miles or years, we have a forever connection with Delta Phi Epsilon, Phi Chi.
Sometimes, even as a recent Alumnae - I feel a disconnect with the Active Chapter, but I have to keep reminding myself that we have values and traditions, and those are everlasting. Even though I don't know 99% of the active chapter, they know that I am a Deepher.
They know that justice, sisterhood and LOVE are forever in my mind. Those values remind me to be my best self everyday.

It's hard to remember to stay connected with the Active Chapter, but it's good to go back every once in a while. Something I noticed when I planned Phi Chi 30th Anniversary is that ladies were so excited to see how their lineages grew. Although I did not know all of the women in my lineage, I felt a sense of connection to all of them! Like we were in a secret society. Especially since my lineage was referred to as the "man-eaters" by many. HAH!
Although we are all busy, I have to schedule in my calendar time to make these blog posts, it is so important to come back to your roots and show some love this Gal-entine's Day. Although I am not always able to attend big/little reveals, I try to write a little note for the new additions to my lineage, welcoming them! It's always the little things in life that you remember.
Anywhoo, I'd just like to wish a Happy Gal-entine's Day to all of our sisters around the world! And encourage you to come out to the events, and if you can't send a little love note to a sister, you never know what could happen. Maybe they will send one back.
