The Phi Chi Alumane Association is excited to announce their 2nd sister of the month, Katelyn Jacobsen, Phi Gamma Pledge Class!

Katelyn graduated from UMBC in Spring 2011, majoring in Visual Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. She went on to receive a Graduate Certificate in Digital Communications at the University of Baltimore. Katelyn is an account executive at an advertising agency. She manages projects that vary from website re-design, to media campains, to print work. She also dubbed herself the "social liaison" of her office, where she uses her social planning skills she learned from Deepher-hood to schedule fun activities for her entire office.

Outside of the daily grind, she is a professional cheerleader for the Baltimore Blast. You can catch her on the field at any home game!
When asked about her favorite DphiE moment, she said... "There are many to choose from... but I really enjoyed the long nights with sisters around a bottle of wine. We could really be doing anything, like studying or even just chatting. Those long, silly nights really brought us close and gave me the opportunity to be myself and silly when normally I can be very quiet and shy."
She and her boo thang, Jeremy rescued a German Shorthaired Pointer named River. He has beautiful black and white spots, and loves to play fetch (although sometimes it's tough to get the ball back!). At the end of the day, he's my favorite snuggle buddy.
She is utterly gorgeous and with that comes lots of work. Fitness is very important to her, she loves running... well love/hates running. She is currently training for her third half marathon.
